The only room in the house that kept its tiled stove. We no longer light it — the room has radiators and air conditioning — but it stays where it was. A 180 × 200 bed, an old writing desk you can work at, a bathroom with a tub. The balcony door opens onto Strada Vitraliului; the windows are new and double-glazed, but on Friday and Saturday nights you will hear people coming home from Strada Republicii. If you are a light sleeper, take a courtyard double.
